Law Cup Countdown
Oldham Injury Worries
(No, don't laugh)
Despite delaying on signing a new contract, 36 year old veteran Leo Casey could be drafted into Oldham's side for the Law Cup due to fitness doubts over their two forwards Paul Norton and new-signing Simon Knox.
Norton has suffered hamstring and groin trouble in training over the past fortnight and pulled out of the Leigh friendly after only six minutes.
Knox didn’t even make the start-line at at Leigh because of a niggling knee problem and Mike Ford is hoping that the injury responds to treatment before naming him in his side.
Also missing will be scrum-half Neil Roden who has been in hospital for keyhole surgery on a long standing knee problem.
