Richard Agar one of our recent signings has been appointed England coach for the Student Rugby League Europa Cup, which gets under way on Saturday in the former Soviet State of Tartastan.
Agar, thrust into the role following an accident to Simon Tuffs, who was injured in a fall on holiday, will be assisted by former Leeds, London, Featherstone and England player Ikram Butt, a Leeds Metropolitan University student who is player-coach
England begin their assault on the two-week tournament with a match against tournament hosts Tartastan at Stadium Locomotiv in Kazan.
