Ray Taylor sent out a big thank you via the messageboard over the weekend and also provided some great news on Watto, Brendan and Danny Wood.Ray goes onto say "After a week of grieving following the disappoinment of losing the semi final I have some people to thank for a season that will stay in my memory for ever
First, to Martin Hall who has shown the commitment to the cause that was sadly lacking in most of our previous coaches. He is dedicated to improving Hornets, not his career prospects, and if the town of Rochdale, and the Local Authority do not get behind us now it will be a disgrace
Martin has been a pleasure to work with and his passion and determination for Hornets to succeed have re vitalised the club
Thanks to all the players who have made our season so special, it would be unfair of me to single out individuals, there have been so many magical moments and you have all played your part
Thanks to all the coaching and backroom staff, Neil Flanagan, Steve Walsh, Mark and Gavin Reynolds for all their hard work and to Pat Bradley and his physio staff who have done a great job
Thanks to all our great supporters, you are the best and deserve the best. Please bring a friend next season
Special personal thanks from me to Jim and all the members of the NOISE MACHINE, all anybody can hope to do in life is to make a difference and you certainly did that for the team and for all of us, more of the same next season please

Martin is already thinking about our next game ( a friendly followed by the Law Cup ? )and planning to start next season where we left off this one
Brendan and Watto signed new contracts last Friday and I hope to have more good news this coming week
The bad news is the Sky money has finished and from now on, we will only be as strong as our support, our sponsors, our lottery and our off field activites can make us
