LEIGH v HORNETS (Sunday 3rd June 2007)
Chris Iles could make his debut for Leigh after arriving in England on Wednesday.The young scrum-half is likely to feature somewhere in Darren Shaw’s squad against the Hornets.
Shaw said: “He’s a young bloke looking for an opportunity and he’ll probably play on Sunday.
“Everyone’s desperate to put things right from last week. It was a disaster from minute one.
“The next three games are crucial to our season and we’ve got to get back on the horse straightaway.”
Danny Halliwell (knee) is likely to miss the next two weeks for Leigh while Paul Norman is expected to miss out for the visitors.
Rochdale boss Darren Abram said: “We’ve got an important three weeks coming up. They’re a full time team with some quality players so it will be tough.
“We’ve got to respect the ball a bit more, but defensively we handled Widnes well last week.”
