In light of that, our friends at Swinton have invited Hornets fans to take part - walking the (approximately) ten miles from Spotland to Sedgely Park.

So we're looking for energetic/enthusiastic/barmy volunteers to join us for the walk between Spotland and Sedgely Park. Last year's walk in conjunction with Widnes raised £3,000 - so we know what the benchmark is. If we could find at least a dozen Hornets fans prepared to take part - and raise £100 each in sponsorship - it'd be a major contribution to this very worthy cause.

We are still finalising the details, but we will be leaving Spotland at around 9am for a stroll through Bamford, through Heywood, past Pilsworth and down into Whitefield in time for a lovely pre-match drinky.
