Superstitious? LHF want you!
LHF HEALTHPLAN LAUNCHES HUNT FOR HORNETS’ MOST SUPERSTITIOUS FANLHF Healthplan, official sponsor of the LHF Healthplan National League, is warming up for the National League playoffs by launching the ‘Most Superstitious Rochdale Hornets Fan’ search.
With the season reaching its climax, LHF Healthplan is looking to discover all the out of the ordinary pre-match rituals fans of The Hornets undertake to give their team every chance of victory – however unusual these may be.
An LHF judging panel will select the zaniest and most unusual entries from devoted supporters and a winner from the Rochdale Hornets will win a pair of tickets to the National League Final at Warrington Wolves’ Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday 8th October 2006.
Jane Fenwick, Director of Marketing, LHF Healthplan, said: “Finding out the superstitions of fans supporting teams in the LHF Healthplan National League is a new initiative we have launched to get closer to the supporters who are the lifeblood of National League rugby.
“I’m sure Rochdale Hornets fans will have some fantastic tales to tell outlining the pre-match rituals they undertake to ensure their team is victorious as we reach the thrills and spills of the play-offs this season.”
