The second game takes place on the weekend of July 6th at a venue to be confirmed, although it could be played as a curtain raiser to the Arriva Trains Cup Final.

The Super League side will be coached by Hull’s Steve Crooks, assisted by Wigan’s Denis Betts. The National League Under-21s will be coached by Whitehaven’s Steve McCormack, assisted by Phil Windley, the coach of BARLA National Conference club West Hull RLFC.

The two-game series will form part of the selection process for the representative teams which play fixtures this autumn. Those games will include the England ‘A’ side which will take on the Australian Kangaroo tourists at Griffin Park, Brentford, and the two National League representative sides which play fixtures against the touring New Zealand ‘A’ side.

The selection criteria for players from the Tetley’s Super League clubs is that they should have played no more than four first team games at this stage of the season.
