Radney Bowker, Taylor says thanks
Last week the appeal went out, keep Bowker for as long as possible. Thirteen Hornets supporters generously answered and donated £50 each to the appeal raising £650. This money will ensure that Radney stays with Hornets at least for another month. His display on Sunday repaid the faith that the fans have in his ability - and showed what a key player he is in the Hornets machine. It also showed how imperative it is that we work as hard as we can to keep him at Hornets.Ray Taylor has publicly thanked the contributors via the rochdalehornets.com message board.
He says, " Special thanks to the 'Nest Eggers' who stumped up £50 each towards Radney's loan fee. It was a great gesture and didn't he do well (on Sunday)?
The next time that Jack Dearden snipes at us on GMR for paying Radney's loan fee, perhaps someone will remind him where the money came from this time.
I am sure that Martin will do his best to secure Radney on a permanent basis and I will let you know when there is anything to report.
