Shirt on the way
Gaz Rothwell who is currently serving in the Gulf will soon be the proud owner of an autographed Hornets shirt, at the last Nest Egg meeting the members clubbed together to buy a club shirt for Corporal Rothwell and this was signed by the Hornets' team.A Cutgate resident and avid Hornets'fan, Corporal Rothwell e-mailed this website asking if they could send him a signed memento from the club. He wrote: "I am an avid Hornets' fan and even though I am in the Army I still make every game I can.
"I am currently in Kuwait. on the Iraqi border. This place is bleaker than anything you can imagine. I am going to be a bit cheeky and ask if you can send me something with the players' signatures to cheer me up."
The shirt is now winging its way to the 32nd Engineering Regiment with best wishes from everyone associated with the club.
