It never rains but it pours.
Plans are currently being put together for certain improvements including drainage for the Spotland pitch.The groundsman is apparently finalising several options, which will be presented to the Stadium company at their next meeting.
The drainage problems were recently highlighted last weekend when the Football club had to cancel their Saturday match due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Stadium Company would normally have to cover the cost of any ground work and with the current financial situation this could well be a stumbling block along with trying to find a suitable timetable within which to complete the work.
