Hall optimistic
Speaking to the "Rugby League Express" Martin Hall had this to say about the Oldham game "Right from the off we didn't touch the ball for eight and a half minutes so obviously we were on the back foot, but all credit, the lads came back into the game. I thought there were some outstanding individual performances from old and new players. We've had just one ball session and are a few weeks behind, and I think that showed".
"No-one likes losing but we will learn a lot from this defeat. When we have more time with the ball I'm sure we'll be a lot better, and by the time we play Workington on January 19 we won't be a million miles away".
