Agar-avation!
A row has erupted over the appointment of Richard Agar as Featherstone
Rovers' assistant coach .
Despite being miraculously cured of his recent injury, he failed to
appear for Rovers yesterday - primarily because he remains on Hornets'
playing register after the club refused to release him.
Agar is contracted to Hornets for another 18 months and, as such, Martin
Hall quite rightly said, "We want a player exchange or some monetary compensation.
He is still registered with us as a player and we will not release him
until it is resolved."
Comments in the press today suggest that the 'player exchange' could
involve prop Stuart Dickens. This remains unconfirmed.
