The Observer reports that Hornets have approached Salford Reds about taking their record points scorer Steve Blakeley on loan . Blakeley, who rejoined Salford from Warrington is believed to be unsettled at The Willows, although money may prove to be a stumbling block for Hornets."We heard last week that Steve Blakeley might be available on a loan basis," Ray Taylor said.
"However, the figure quoted was far in excess of anything we would want to pay. I have tried three times to contact Salford chairman John Wilkinson, who I know personally, and I'm waiting for him to get back to me."
