Hornets hastily re-arranged NFP game with Barrow could lift them into the top four if they can pull off a win.Coach Martin Hall sees this as a golden opportunity to steal a march on a handful of clubs in the race for an end of season play-off place but he needs to get the best from his players in order to achieve that objective.
With Brendan O'Meara and co-centre Matt Calland both ruled out with shoulder and hamstring problems and Danny Wood limping off in the defeat at Doncaster, Hall could easily fear the worst.
"We have a few injury worries which are not clearing up, but we have got to overcome them and get on with the game,” said Hall, who could bring back Dave Watson.
Hall's other concern is stand-off Richard Agar. He has indicated that he would like to move on and, consequently, has been linked with a switch back to Yorkshire.
Meanwhile, Barrow will run fitness checks on prop Tau Liku, centre Cliff Beverley and scrum half Darren Holt before coach Cameron Bell can name his side.
Work commitments could also sideline Willie Burns, but busy utility player Dave Clark could make his return from injury.
