Rochdale Hornets have confirmed a major new sponsorship agreement with an unnamed Multinational Blue Chip Company. The Club’s delighted General Manager Liam O’Reilly has hailed the deal as “a first for our sport”

The partnership, initially worth £40,000 is based exclusively around the Club’s community development programme and how it operates both within the community and especially in the superb Spotland Stadium.

“The sponsors have requested not to be named in the sporting circles, the profile and awareness they are seeking is solely around community, educational and business to business contact. For the first time our sport is being recognised as an effective facilitator for business development. I am delighted to have attracted this deal for Rochdale Hornets.” Said General Manager Liam O’Reilly.
