Dragons and Hornets beat deadline
Doncaster Dragons and Rochdale Hornets beat Buddies National League Cup quarter final draw
Both Doncaster Dragons and Rochdale Hornets registered new players just before today’s close of business signing deadline for this weekend’s Buddies National League Cup quarter finals.
The Dragons registered Dale Cardoza, who was released by Tetley’s Super League club Warrington Wolves while Rochdale Hornets have signed Iain Higgins who has left another Super League club London Broncos.
It was a historic moment for Rugby League as it was the first signing deadline for it's youngest competition.
Higgins also played for Hunslet last season and was one of their star players.
