Double Trouble
Injuries to key threequarters cause concern
Hornets have been dealt a blow with the news that in-form utility back
Casey Mayberry suffered a broken hand in Sunday’s moral victory over the
team formerly known as Huddersfield-Sheffield Giant Eagle Barracudas.
Mayberry, took the man of the match award despite incurring the injury
early in the second half of the game. He's expected to be out for up to
six weeks.
Hally said. "We have a number of injuries at the moment, and to
lose Casey is obviously a blow. He has been superb this year, but
we expect to have him back in time for the resumption of the Northern Ford
Premiership - he will benefit from the rest."
In a double blow Hornets influential skipper Matt Calland will be out
for the remainder of the National League Cup campaign after collecting
a hamstring strain in the same game.
