Hornets assistant coach Neil Flanagan was delighted with the teams second half performance against Gateshead.Speaking to the Observer he went onto say "We controlled the ball a lot better in the second half and we defended a lot better" .
"In the first half we weren't defending but after the break we picked the enthusiasm up and came away with what we wanted."
But he added: "The tries we conceded were all soft ones and you shouldn't allow teams to score tries like that. Week in week out, against lower teams, we are conceding points which we shouldn't be. We seem to defend well against the better teams. It's something we need to look at in our preparation."
And there was a hint of what Huddersfield could expect "When we've come against the bigger teams we've prepared well and played well. This week will be no different and we'll go along the same lines as we have before."
