Martin Hall commenting in Wednesday's Observer is frustrated at the lack of training facilities in the town for his team.Hall has been unable to do any ball work with his squad, and at times has been restricted to fitness training in the stands at Spotland.
"It's unbelievable," he said. "There isn't a day goes by when I'm not out looking for somewhere to train. I've tried Rochdale, Halifax, Ashton, Bury, Oldham and even Huddersfield without any success, and we spent last Thursday night running up and down the steps at Spotland."
The Observer went onto comment that this is not a new issue. It is one that has caused concern for Hornets coaches and Rochdale Football Club managers for some years. Surely it's about time something was done.
We agree.
