I have just visited Spotland to see the Challenge Cup tie between
Rochdale and Leigh. A thrilling match, in atrocious conditions won by Leigh
.
However, as a Leigh fan, I must hand on heart, say Rochdale are a
better bet for Super League than my team.
The set up at Spotland is superb. Three excellent stands and
better facilities than most Super League clubs and Leigh. With the
teams so evenly matched on the field (we drew at Hilton park in January)
my fear is once again Leigh will miss out on Super League status.
