Greetings from The Dalai
Greetings to all my fellow Hornets - and supplication from myself as I beg forgiveness for my prolonged absence.
It has been a difficult last six months - the world is in turmoil and I have been engaged in spreading the word of peace amongst countries that see and desire only war.
I did however take a short sabbatical from my calling to drop in at Hilton Park to see Stuart Cummings hand a point to Leigh with a quite appalling penalty decision.
But as peace is my path, I forgive him this indiscretion given that not many teams will come away from Leigh with a point.
Blessed too are Martin Hall and his team for the uplifting start to the
season that we have been graced with.
And, as we thank the Holy One for the many blessings bestowed upon us,
we might have a care for those less fortunate. Those who struggle without leadership; those in exile; those without homes; those whose followers have
turned their backs and deserted them; those who live a refugee existence wandering from place to place in search of some small corner that they can claim as their own.
But enough about Oldham, let us look with anticipation to the start of our cup odyssey and the rest of the season.
In doing so we send a prayer heavenwards that those who don the Hornets jersey may continue to be justly rewarded for their efforts, that those who follow with loyalty be rewarded with the fruits of their commitment and that everyone at our wonderful club continues to take our team forward into a brighter future.
I will be among you on Sunday. Blessings upon you all - may you too wear the shirt with pride.
